Things have been so hectic for the past couple of weeks. I just got done with midterms last week, so I finally have a lot more free time. However, I'm still behind on work... especially for my history and drawing class. I have drawings to finish, a research paper to start, critical responses to write... yikes! I will get them done soon though. I'm so sad though because I haven't had time to spend time with some of my college friends... even though they are right here on campus with me!


So I came home this weekend for Halloween. It was my little brother's birthday party (he's twelves now! I got him a UCLA t-shirt as gift), but afterward I also left to Jonathan's family Halloween party. It was really fun! Here are some pictures of me Saturday:

Being in childhood-adulthood limbo is very tedious, so I went out shopping again in the afternoon before I had to go to pick up my little brother from school. I got some nice things and everything was under $10! I got this necklace here from Forever 21 that I really love. I don't understand why I have been into jewelry lately! I rarely wear jewelry so I don't know why I keep wanting to buy them. Maybe it's because they are releasing such cute things these days.

I also got myself a cute new pair of shoes (which I will post later), new black stockings/tights, and false eyelashes (for fun!).

I'm sorry that I haven't posted anything really interesting lately, just things I've bought. Good luck in school everyone! I know almost everyone on my f-list is working hard in school or at work. I'll be here, rooting in limbo for you. ♥

Today I went shopping with Jonathan at Cerritos Mall. We saw a lot of our friends from high school working at some of the stores there! It was a nice treat to see them again before I leave. ♥

Anyways, I bought myself some new sandals and this braided headband that I just love! It's synthetic hair so it's unnaturally shiny, but it the color matches with my hair pretty well... more than I expected.



I really love this headband (though I wish the braid was a little smaller). It adds a nice romantic or boho touch to whatever style you put your hair in. I personally like it when I have my hair up in a messy bun as in the first picture.



When I was at mall, I also wanted this beaded turtle hair clip at this Native American themed store. I wasn't sure how to wear it because I don't wear clips often so I didn't buy it. But I think next time that I will go buy it because it was on sale. The originally price of it was $25 but then it went down to $7!

These days I don't feel very happy with myself. I feel very uncomfortable and confused as if I was missing something important. I am very critical of myself and I hate that because it shouldn't be that. I don't like my nails, my hair, my body, the things I write, the things I create. Maybe I'm getting sick again or maybe it's just one of those days where I feel a little lost.





I'm trying to find ways of cheering myself up, like taking photographs. However, I still feel unhappy which worries me because I usually feel a little better about myself. I'm trying to listen to music, but instead that just makes me feel even sadder.

This is a marble that I found when I was still in school. It was laying in the school parking lot. I think it is the prettiest marble I have ever seen. It reminds me of the moon with all it's craters. Sometimes it makes me think of a little water bubble. Then there are days when it makes me think of the plant Earth and I am standing here on this one spot. Then you guys are here in different other spots.


I hope to find myself again soon, so that I can go back to smiling genuinely. I still have two more months of summer left and I want to enjoy it as much as I can.

I never realized that there was such a nice white space in my living room. So I decided to practice taking a couple of pictures of myself. It's all natural light and no editing in Photoshop. Well, just a slight blue tint to freshen up the pictures. It's a really nice change from my usual raspberry pink walls.

I'm going to see Year One with my cousin today. We wanted to watch it earlier in the afternoon, but my little brother has to go swimming so we have to wait for his lessons to end. He was crying about it!

I already miss my friends from school. I really want to see them again so I might throw a get-to-together at a restaurant to eat. It's also Vanessa and Denise's birthday this month, so I want to do a little birthday surprise for them. I already have their gifts and cards. ♥

I want to get a hair makeover. Last week I tried to convince my hairdresser to give me straight bangs, but he refused! But I understand why because my face is round and I have small forehead. So I was thinking about dyeing my hair. I was thinking a reddish-brown color (although it would be so awesome if I could do blonde.) I would do a light brown, but I actually think that would funny on me. What do you think F-list?
